This part of OPFH is reserved for Seniors having reached their 60th. year in life or more. It is intended to give exclusive exposure to Seniors, who are willing and able to offer their time on a part- or full-time basis.
Individual Home Owners, Small & Large Businesses, General & Trade Contractors, simply everyone needs to hire help at one time or another. For one single job, for a few hours, a few days, weeks or more.
Fixing the plumbing, electrical, structural repair & maintenance, etc.
Babysitting, Home – Garden or Animal care, Clothing alterations, Personal Care, or simply to get a hand doing different things that need no particular skill-set or knowledge. ServiceProviders can do it all.
Seniors will save the day for everyone, given the opportunity. There are no downsides of any kind. For Seniors, working on the basis of ‘Independent Contractors’, they can take advantage of writing off expenses, choose when they wish to work and when not. Employers – large or small, avoid a mountain of paperwork, time and costs.

A ‘JobProvider’ for individuals with certain ‘Skills’, will select one or more ‘Skills’ from the ‘Drop down’ list. When activating the “Core Activities”, one can select from a more detailed list of services. If you have entered that particular Skill as one of yours, the ‘Search Engine’ will bring up your ‘Membership Profile’ , which the ‘JobProvider’ will see and read. So, it is important that you give pertinent details of precisely what you can do, in the space provided under ‘Highlights’ above.
You can always elaborate in the following conversation with the ‘JobProvider’ . Be brief, be positive, be available, make your statement and you likely have the Job.A ‘JobOffer’ by a Corporation or Individual, will ‘trigger’ an e-mail to you, alerting you that someone needs work done. In this case, it is up to you to contact that party as soon as possible to inquire about the details and decide if you wish to do the work posted.
By opening a new Folder for these e-mails, you can easily keep track of communications. After a while, you will accumulate enough contacts to occasionally call them back to make sure these ‘JobProviders’ know you are still available.
Access to the ‘JobBoard’ is limited to members only, by using their unique ID to‘Login’ to OPFH. The ‘JobBoard’is designed to give ‘JobProviders’ the opportunity to ‘Post’a Job, so that all Members have the opportunity to see what is being offered, and in turn, call to see if the Job is still available, provided it falls within their field of expertise.
We recommend that you keep an eye on the Job Board on a daily basis, as you may find a Job posted in your ‘Skill’ inventory which you may not have ‘listed’ in your Profile.
A “JobAlert” will ‘flash’ on the Home Page after a new “JobOffer” has been posted on the JobBoard.

No problem. A family member or close Friend may be happy to help you, by allowing e-mails for you to come to their computer. Your e-mails are easily identified, so friends or family can alert you by phone, giving you the contact details, so you can personally call the ‘JobProvider’ to discuss details of what is needed.
To maintain a maximum of privacy, keeping in mind that you wish to be contacted, we are not showing a Street Address or your ‘Sir’ Name / last name. All items marked with (*) must be filled in to have the ‘Membership Application’ approved.
